Foreverland
2025, 4K video assemblage with sound, infinite runtime, 144 x 60 in.Foreverland is an alteration and reassembly of a 4-second establishing shot of “Neverland” from the 1991 film, Hook. Using a complex layering of visual effects, this brief establishing shot has been manipulated in order to play infinitely, in real-time, as a wide-format projection. The sound is an assemblage of recordings taken from Puerto Rico and Sicily, the artist’s ancestral homelands.
