Jesse Mineo (b. 1989) is a Sicilian-American and Nuyorican artist living and working in Queens, New York. He holds a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Mineo's practice focuses on multimedia and assemblage, incorporating filmmaking, photography, sound design, lighting design, and mark making. His work often centers on personal history, memory and dreams to interrogate the impacts social, political and economic systems have on identity, shared cultures and traditions, human settlements and the natural environment.
