Jesse Mineo (b. 1989 Long Island, New York) is a Sicilian-American and Nuyorican mixed media artist living and working in Queens, New York. He holds a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Mineo's visual arts practice employs a wide range of media and processes that includes film, photography, drawing, interactive media, digital compositing, assemblage and installation. His work incorporates personal/family history, memory and nostalgia to interrogate the impacts social, political and economic systems have on identity, shared cultures and traditions, human settlements and the natural environment.
